Substance Abuse Recovery

Our Substance Abuse Program provides both individual and group counseling.  Individual counseling is offered to APNH clients during daytime or early evening hours by appointment only.  Please contact the Director of Client Services at, 203-624-0947 to make an appointment with one of our substance abuse professionals.  

The following group counseling sessions are available to clients after working individually with a substance abuse counselor:

The Women’s DBT Group focuses on the development of life and relapse prevention skills. It is held every Monday, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The facilitator is Christa Jacaruso, LCSW. 

The Men’s Relapse Prevention Group focuses on support and life skills training.   Meetings are facilitated by Seph Mayo, NLP, every Monday evening from 4:30 PM until 6:00 PM.
